Devil's Palace

The Palazzo Trucchi di Levaldigi is a ancient building in Turin that was built in 1673. A handle with the face of the devil is carved into the wooden main door. Legend has it that the devil himself built the gateway (Portone del Diabolo) and placed it there to imprison a sorcerer who had the audacity to summon him. Occultists and esotericists connect the presence of the Devil’s Gate with the fact that it was the scene of several murders and mysterious disappearances and that it housed the Tarot Factory in the 17th century. So it doesn‘t take much imagination to picture that black masses and orgies like in the movie Eyes Wide Shot were also celebrated behind these eery walls. Although these are great horror stories to attract tourists, but it doesn‘t make them any more true.
