Men in Black

The Men in Black (MIB) are mainly present in urban legends which have become popular thanks to the eponymous blockbuster film series with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Allegedly, they are secret agents of the US government, tasked to cover up the existence of UFOs or extraterrestrial life. Whenever there is a new sighting, they would immediately move out and silence the eyewitnesses through intimidation or elimination. Another theory is that the MIB themselves are extraterrestrial beings or time travellers that hide their true identity. However, please note: just as some blurry photos with a fuzzy dot don’t prove the existence of flying saucers, neither are fabricated witness statements proof of the well-dressed cover-up agents. Aren’t they?
